Deacon Roger Klosterman
Staff Bio:
I have served our cluster (St Augustine and St Joseph’s parishes) since my ordination as Deacon in April of 2007. I am still working full time as a sales representative, working from home, for Barcodes Inc, located in Chicago IL. I have been assisting Father at masses on weekends, and I enjoy performing the sacraments of baptism and marriage when scheduled or asked. For funerals, when the need arises, I lead vigil prayer services at funeral home, assist at funeral mass, and the prayer service at cemetery committing the body to the earth. I lead benediction services on Monday evenings when scheduled, and I am always willing to help lead prayer services that arise on special occasions such as Divine Mercy Sunday. I also help with lector ministry by training lectors – helping candidates proclaim Sacred Scripture !!! I am also a volunteer for Hospice. If I can help you in any way, I would be glad to sit down and talk with you.
